World of Escapes is a directory: we aggregate listings, reviews and photos for escape room venues, but the games themselves are run by the individual companies. Book and play directly with the venue — each listing has contact details, and some offer online booking.
Both vary by venue and even by room. Check the specific listing or contact the company directly — hours and pricing change often enough that we point you to the source rather than list numbers here.
Age recommendations are set by each venue and listed on their page. As a rough guide, kids under 10 can find the puzzle logic difficult, though they're often better than adults at pattern-recognition tasks. If you're unsure, contact the venue directly before booking.
Most venues don't physically lock the door, for safety reasons. The ones that do keep an emergency exit accessible at all times — no company operating legitimately will trap you with no way out.
Each room has a fixed maximum capacity, set for comfort and how the puzzles are distributed. For larger groups or team events, the usual solution is booking multiple rooms at the same venue and running them side by side.
It depends on the room and your team. Most listings show a difficulty rating on a 1–4 scale, and some also publish their completion rate — both are worth checking if you want to gauge difficulty before booking.
